About

Sarah Resch is an Audio Engineer and Sound Designer. Her experience includes studio recording, live stage productions, and post production, sports broadcasting.

Sarah has interned with Baboon Animation and Chicago Recording Company. With Baboon, she worked on over 70 episodes of multiple animated series and a feature film as a Pro Tools Engineer. During her time at Baboon, she was also promoted to Project Coordinator for an animated series, where she managed quality control on episodes, scheduled sessions with actors, communicated project details with clients, and managed of team of over 10 people. At Chicago Recording Company, Sarah shadowed over 20 professional music and post production sessions; acting as a runner and setting up sessions as appropriate. At CRC, some of her sessions included: Chance the Rapper, Josh Groban, John Mulaney, Fear the Walking Dead, and American Dad.

Sarah currently works for Radio and Television Services at Indiana University, where she mainly fills the position of A1. In this position, she mixes for BTN+ (Big Ten Network+) Broadcasts. Her mixes have also aired on ESPN+ and been re-aired on Big Ten Network. She also often fills Camera Operator and Utility positions. In 2025, she began working on local PBS news show "Indiana Newsdesk" which airs on WFIU (Bloomington) and WFYI (Indianapolis). She runs CG and Teleprompter on these live-to-tape shows, and has begun training Technical Direction. Also in 2025, she began interning with the Broadcast Engineering Department at Radio-Television Services at Indiana University.

Sarah has been working in theatrical and live productions for seven years, with experience in digital boards, analog boards, and control surfaces.  In 2018 she did sound design for a production of "Refugee Women" that qualified for the Indiana Thespian State Conference.  As well as sound, her background in live production includes experience in Technical Direction, Lighting Design, and Set Construction.  She also served as the chair of the State Thespian Officers for the Indiana Thespian Society in the 2020 season. In 2024, she was the Sound Designer and A1 Mixer for Jacobs School of Music's performance of Leonard Bernstein's "Trouble in Tahiti." This sound design was done for the immersive L-ISA sound system.
